In this seminar you will not only learn the basics of permaculture at the Krameterhof, but you will also learn a lot of interesting and useful information for your own permaculture project. In addition, you will learn important techniques such as mulching or composting and become familiar with the advantages of mixed culture, crop rotation and biological plant protection. As it is best to remember what you try out yourself, you will always be hands-on and put what you have learned into practice. Use this seminar as the first step towards your own permaculture.
PROGRAMM
DAY 1: WELCOME, INTRODUCTION AND TOUR
10:00 am – 5:00 pm

- Introduction to the philosophy of permaculture at Krameterhof farm
- Discussion of some basic principles of Holzer Permaculture
- Inspection and discussion of various facilities at Krameterhof farm
DAY 2: PERMACULTURE IN AGRICULTURE AND HORTICULTURE
9:00 am – 5:00 pm
(lunch break approx. from 12:00 to 01:00 pm)
- Inspection and discussion of various facilities at Krameterhof farm
- Deepening the permaculture principles
- Vegetable growing on the Krameterhof - techniques, equipment and machines
- Soil life, humus build-up, mulch
DAY 3: PERMACULTURE GARDEN
9:00 am – 5:00 pm
(lunch break approx. from 12:00 to 01:00 pm)
- Composting basics
- Composting techniques in theory and practice
- Building a raised bed in theory and practice
DAY 4: PERMACULTURE GARDEN
9:00 am – 4:00 pm
(lunch break approx. from 12:00 to 01:00 pm)
- Possibilities and techniques of plant propagation

FEES
€ 690,– PER PERSON
- children up to 12 years: free of charge
- 13-17 years: half the adult fee; 18+: full fee
- A three-course lunch made from our own organic farm products is included in the costs.

Be prepared to spend time outside. Guided tours occur rain or shine, so please wear appropriate clothing including sturdy and comfortable shoes.
